Barton Chase, Barton on Sea, South Coast

This seaside centre was opened in 1956 and offered interesting excursions along the coast and in The New Forest.  For many years it seemed that the promenade was going to disappear into the sea, but this was not to be and the house still stands.  It was closed after 33 years in 1989.
